This game adds an intriguing theme to a classic Rummy structure, where players form melds of Victims, Suspects, Scenes, and Evidence to build a case against suspects in the Jack the Ripper murders. The suit with the most cards played when a player goes out is deemed guilty, but if all Victim cards appear first, the Ripper may escape, awarding points to the player who played that card. This is the first game in the Mystery Rummy series.
