DVONN is played on a hexagonal board using 23 white, 23 black, and 3 red DVONN pieces. Players take turns placing pieces on the board, beginning with the DVONN pieces, then stack pieces to move them. A stack moves as a whole, with a range dependent on its height. Pieces disconnected from DVONN must be removed. The game concludes when no further moves are possible, and the player with the tallest stack wins. DVONN is part of the GIPF project.
