Each player begins with five chips, and to acquire a ship card, you must have a stack of chips meeting the minimum requirement shown on the card. A unique aspect of the game allows players to place their chips on others' stacks, claiming ownership but delaying use until the next turn, risking loss. Scoring has added complexity in this version compared to Die Safeknacker, featuring tokens to collect and consolation prizes for players adjacent in the stack.
