Lost Cities was redeveloped into Keltis with altered rules, then published by Rio Grande as Lost Cities: The Board Game using Knizia's original rules and theme. Main differences: LCBG plays three rounds with end scoring for monuments and ascending card play only, while Keltis plays one round with scoring each round and allows ascending or descending card order. Kosmos modified Keltis to reduce luck and fit their abstract series, while LCBG retains elements linking it to its predecessor.
