The Resistance

The Empire must fall, and our mission to dismantle their key bases is crucial. Spies are among us, plotting sabotage. In five nights, we change our fate or die trying as the Resistance. The Resistance is a social deduction game for 5-10 players, lasting roughly 30 minutes with no player elimination, and inspired by Mafia/Werewolf. Players are either Resistance Operatives or Imperial Spies, carrying out missions while determining each other's identities. Discussion leads to a leader assigning players to missions; votes determine assignments, and players secretly support or sabotage. Three successful missions win the game. Note for 2010 buyers: use 7 plot cards for 5-6 players and all 15 for 7+ players; correct plot card drawing per round by player count.
