In Terra Nova, players claim land by moving control markers and placing fences. Each turn consists of three actions: moving a marker and making two additional actions, such as moving the same or another marker, or placing a fence next to a moved marker. Scoring occurs when areas are enclosed with no more than three landscape types, with points awarded based on the number of pieces and types in that area. The game concludes once all areas are scored, and it won the Premio Archimede 2004.
