HeroQuest, by Milton Bradley, is a board game reminiscent of Dungeons & Dragons, made in collaboration with Games Workshop Ltd. One player acts as the game master, while up to four others assume characters like a wizard or barbarian to explore dungeons. The game involves a grid-based dungeon map, and players move, attack, or search during their turns. The evil wizard wins if players fail their quest or are eliminated; collected items can be used in future quests. An additional adventure, "A Plague of Zombies," was included in the HeroQuest: Adventure Design Kit.
