The game involves strategic action pawn placement to thrive in various habitats, gain victory points, and adapt through speciation, migration, and environmental changes. New game mechanics, such as immediate actions upon pawn placement and special pawns for flexibility, enhance the competitive strategy to become the dominant species before an impending asteroid event.
